Page 2 ____________________________________________ 2005 Calendar of Events Last month we posted the upcoming events from January through June 2005. One very important event was omitted. Super Senior Saturday
April 30th. The second annual Super Senior Saturday will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Mulberry Elementary School, 5950 Buckwheat Rd. This event was a huge success last year and the committee, headed by Karen Jessee, is working hard to make this one even better. There will be many vendors on hand answering questions and concerns plus demonstrating their services for seniors.
Also returning to SSS is the very popular chair volleyball tournament. If you attended last year you saw how competitive the teams were and how much these seniors enjoy themselves. Circle your calendar and drop by for a great day.
July- Mid Summer at the Meadows will be held July 8 & 9 at Miami Meadows Park. This is fun for the whole family, music, food, entertainment for kids and ending with the best fireworks around. More as it becomes available. Watch the newsletter for information on a July Grill Out sponsored by one of our Chamber members.
