is a void in the FD committee. Pat was a tireless worker and the FD
weekend was so important to him. The committee knows Pat would want
them to carry on but it won’t be the same without Pat and his antics and
joke playing on everyone. To honor Pat, the committee has made him Grand
Marshal, Pat’s wife Mimi, daughter Tracy, son-in-law Josh and his six
grandchildren will be riding in the parade.

Greater Milford Area History
Society is hosting a Vintage Base Ball Game at Riverside
Ballfield onWater Street at Stier Drive. !Huzzah! Huzzah! the
Cincinnati Buckeyes vs. Wyandotte Ghostriders at 2 PM. The
Cincinnati Buckeyes predated their rivals, the Red Stockings
(now known as the Cincinnati Reds), by a year, yet were all but
forgotten to history as the Red Stockings went
professional and made Cincinnati a one-team town. Almost 140 years
later, the Cincinnati Buckeyes returned, to play the game
they love and to educate and entertain folks with the original game of
base ball. It was a gentlemen’s sport, played with great skill and
greater spirit. Today’s Cincinnati Buckeyes continue the
legacy of their name, and promote the history and tradition of
America’s pastime.
