  • Thursday, March 27, 2008 - Lunch at Panera Bread.   11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.  Lots of chamber members attend so bring your business cards for networking. $10.00 per person

  • Wednesday, April 23, 2008 -   Education Dinner. This is a great event showcasing our educators, school retirees and scholarship recipients. Held at the Oasis Conference Center this event is always well attended.  5:30 PM cost $32.50 per person, $42.50 non member and $325.00 for a table of nine.  Click here for more details

  • Saturday, May 3, 2008 - Miami Township will present Super Senior Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Miami Township Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive.  This “free” event features over 30 booths with information and services on many important topics relating to Seniors. Complimentary lunch provided.  Entertainment and an hourly raffle with exciting give-away and prizes every hour. Entertainers include local piano, dulcimer, violin and clarinet performances. The popular ‘chair volleyball’ tournament will also return.   • Thursday through Sunday, June 5, 6, 7 & 8, 2008 - The 46th Annual Frontier Days Celebration.   Although the committee has officially met, people are beginning to call the office wanting information.   • Friday through Sunday - August 22-24, 2008 - Putters Tavern, 5723 Signal Hill Court is presenting the largest Madden event on the East side of Cincinnati.  MILFORD MADDEN CHALLENGE is a tournament for all ages and will benefit Milford High School Athletics!!  The event takes place , time TBD.  There is a $20 per person non-refundable entry fee and you have to register in person at Putters or GAME CITY, 1067 St. Rt. 28 (behind White Castle).  First prize is $1000.
  • Sunday, August 24, 2008 - River’s Edge Collision Center presents the 7th Annual Classic Car Show, Sunday  from 9:00am to 3pm.  This has become one of the premier car shows in the area.  There will be food and drinks available.  For more info call 831-5460.

  • Saturday, September 6, 2008  - The Giving of Life, Milford Community Fire Department Benefit Dance, 7-midnight. Asst. Chief Mark Flannigan underwent a kidney transplant , in which he received a kidney from his sister-in-law Lisa Craig. The  Fire Department along with the help of many local businesses will be having a Dance , Drinks, Appetizers and Door Prizes. If you would like to attend cost is $20.00 per person. Attention all Single Ladies. Chief John Cooper will be auctioned off! Bid on a chance to have dinner with Fire Chief John Cooper.   Tickets available at the MCF Department or the Chamber office.   • Sunday, September 7, 2008 - Sunflower Revolution V -  Get together with over 1,000 bicycle riders for a great time and a great cause on  in Downtown Milford. Three cycling events are organized to raise money for a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.  This will be the first time this event is being held in Milford, so the streets will come alive all weekend long with promotions and activities. Following the race and ride on Sunday, there will be food, music, prizes, and much more at the finish line near the American Legion.  For more information go to www.sunflowerrev.org

  • Thursday, September 18, 2008 - The League of Women Voters Clermont County presents the 12th Annual Suffragist Event,  at the Receptions Conference Center East.  LWV presents the Orpha Gatch Citizenship Award to a Clermont County woman who exhibits a spirit of exemplary community volunteerism.  Orpha was a longtime Milford resident that was an original that fought for women’s right to vote.  She raised her family on Garfield Ave. where Milford Pottery is located and could be seen walking daily with her basket to shop in Milford.  She was a gracious lady that always took time to help others.  Go to www.LWVClermont.com to make your reservation or perhaps a donation for this wonderful event.

  • Saturday, October 4, 2008 - Buskerfest  - Fourth Annual - What is a Busker you ask?  Buskers are street performers that may include dancers, mimes, clowns, magicians, puppeteers, living statues, sidewalk artists, etc.  We celebrate these performance artists with their own event on  including food, music, crafts, and of course Buskers!  Come stroll the pedestrian-only Main Street of Historic Milford with friends and  family.   • Saturday, October 4, 2008 - 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.  Harvest Festival & Community Bonfire sponsored by Miami Township at the Community Park Performance Pavilion at 5951 Buckwheat Road.  Join us for Miami Townships 4th annual Harvest Festival and Bonfire. From 7:00 -8:30 kids will enjoy crafts, scare crow decorating and storytelling. Keep warm by the bonfire while enjoying live music by "One Iota" an original, contemporary blue grass band featuring traditional & gospel blue grass music heard locally on WOBO, WAIF and WNKU. Miami Township Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA) will be offering beverages, 
    snacks & water for sale and the proceeds benefit the CPAAA. This is a Free event. 
  • Monday, October 6, 2008 -  Annual Fall Classic The Oasis Golf Center - Get that driver out and head to the practice range.  The Annual Golf Classis is getting close. Monday, October 6, 2008 The Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce and The Literacy Council of Clermont and Brown Counties are again partnering for this fun event being held at the Oasis Golf Club.  Below is a link to a registration form for your convenience.  The City of Milford and Miami Township will again be battling for bragging rites.  We are planning a fun filled day and encourage all to join in the fun.  So get your foursome together and send in your form.  If you don’t have a foursome, sign up.  We’ll find a spot for you.   • Wednesday, October 29 Annual C.O.V.E.R. Awards at R.S.V.P. on Wards Corner.  Guest Speaker will be Kent Taylor founder of Texas Roadhouse.  Mr. Taylor is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Texas Roadhouse restaurants. Mr. Taylor, who has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana, in 1993.  In just 15 years, the Louisville-based company has grown to more than 300 locations in 44 states. In 2006, readers of Consumer Reports magazine voted Texas Roadhouse as the top concept in its category, and in 2007 Forbes magazine ranked the company as one of the 200 Best Small Companies in the nation.   • Thursday, November 20, 2008 -  Miami Township Holiday Parade at 7:00 p.m.  Bring your lawn chair and join us.  The parade starts at Meijer and  proceeds down Business 28 to near Montclair Blvd.  Enjoy the sights & sounds of the holiday.  High School marching bands, lighted floats, businesses, Miami Township Fire, Police, Service & Recreation Departments, Ohio State Highway Patrol, churches, school groups & civic organizations participate to make this a fun community event.  Road closes at 6:30.  Call Miami Township Recreation Department at 248-3727 if you are interested in participating. 

  • Friday through Sunday, November 28-30, 2008 - Hometown Holidays - Kick off the holiday and shopping season by visiting Historic Milford for our annual Hometown Holidays Festival during the weekend of Thanksgiving, .  Enjoy Santa and his workshop, live sidewalk entertainment, horse drawn carriages, train and historic fire truck rides, food, fun, and holiday spirit!  All of this while you get a kick-start to the holiday shopping season.  Forget the mall; make this a memorable shopping experience in historic downtown Milford.  With so many events and all of the unique shopping in Historic Milford, we are very excited about carrying on the traditions of our community, while shaping the future.  We encourage everyone to get involved and share in the uniqueness that is truly Milford Ohio – America’s Main Street.  For more information or to get involved, contact me at chamm@latitudescafe.net.
  • Saturday, December 6, 2008 - Miami Township 10th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting & Open House from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Miami Township Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive - Enjoy the local talent as they ring in the holiday season.  Children can visit with Santa, decorate cookies, 
    have their face painted and make holiday crafts.   The Miami Township Christmas Tree will be lit at 7:15 p.m.  This is a Free event. 
  • Wednesday, December 3, 2008 - Taste of Christmas 5:30-6:30 Chamber Members only, open to the general public from 6:30-8:30   Cost $5.00 per Adult $3.00 per Child  (receive door prize ticket) The Milford Show Choir is performing,  Location:  Milford Comm.
