2008 - Miami Township will present
Super
Senior Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Miami Township
Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive. This “free” event features over
30 booths with information and services on many important topics
relating to Seniors. Complimentary lunch provided. Entertainment
and an hourly raffle with exciting give-away and prizes every
hour. Entertainers include local piano, dulcimer, violin and clarinet
performances. The popular ‘chair volleyball’ tournament will also

Revolution V - Get together with over 1,000 bicycle riders for
a great time and a great cause on in Downtown Milford. Three
cycling events are organized to raise money for a cure for Parkinson’s
Disease. This will be the first time this event is being held in
Milford, so the streets will come alive all weekend long with promotions
and activities. Following the race and ride on Sunday, there will be
food, music, prizes, and much more at the finish line near the American

Women Voters Clermont County presents the 12th Annual Suffragist Event,
at the Receptions Conference Center East. LWV presents the Orpha Gatch
Citizenship Award to a Clermont County woman who exhibits a spirit of
exemplary community volunteerism. Orpha was a longtime Milford resident
that was an original that fought for women’s right to vote. She raised
her family on Garfield Ave. where Milford Pottery is located and could
be seen walking daily with her basket to shop in Milford. She was a
gracious lady that always took time to help others. Go to

2008 The Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce and The Literacy
Council of Clermont and Brown Counties are again partnering for this fun
event being held at the Oasis Golf Club. Below is a link to a

Township will again be battling for bragging rites. We are planning a

join us. The parade starts at Meijer and proceeds
down Business 28 to near Montclair Blvd.

lighted floats, businesses, Miami Township Fire, Police, Service &
Recreation Departments, Ohio State Highway Patrol, churches, school
groups & civic organizations participate to make this a fun community
event. Road closes at 6:30.
