  • Tuesday, February 24, 2009.  The Milford Miami Township Chamber along with the Clermont County Chamber are hosting and after five Mardi Gras at Latitudes in Milford 5:00pm - 7:00pm.  The charge is $15.00 for members and $30.00 non members.  There will be appetizers and a cash bar.   • Tuesday, March 17, 2009 - Chamber seminar "Review and Looking Forward" presented by Carrie Owings at 7:30am hosted at the Chamber Office.
  • The American Legion Auxiliary hosts a fish fry every Friday night from 4:30 till 7:30. Along with the fish, shrimp and chicken strip dinners, we now offer baked potatoes and soup.  And if you catch it on the right week, there is also a great home cooked special.  Also, the Legion offers an All You Can Eat Country Breakfast every Sunday 9:00 till noon. 

  • Throughout March - Promont is sponsoring "THE BELLS ARE RINGING", a rare collection of historic bells are on display at Promont. He has a great party planned with crafts, decorate cookies, face painting, balloon art and games. NO EGG HUNT. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras and take that special picture.
  • Saturday, April 4, 2009 - SUPER SERVICE SATURDAY presented by the staff and students at Live Oaks Career Campus on Buck-wheat Rd. in Miami Township. There are How-To Clinics, Vehicle Inspections, Large Appliance Recycling, Mini-Manicures plus much more. All of the services offered are free to the public.   • April 18-19, 2009 Firefighter Combat Challenge - Target Parking Lot. A free family event sponsored by Target and Lykins Companies. Deemed the "Toughest Two Minutes in Sports" it brings hundreds of firefighters to challenge their skills and athleticism. Times are 12noon-8:00pm both days.   • Saturday, April 18, 2009 - RECYCLE YOUR OLD COMPUTERS - Miami Township will be hosting a Computer Reuse/Recycling Event from 9:00-noon at Miami Town-ship Service Dept. Building, 5900 McPicken Dr. This is an opportunity for all residents and businesses of Clermont County to donate computers that are no longer being used—and it is free.   • Tuesday, April 28, 2009.  RED'S NIGHT OUT.  Milford Miami Township Chamber is partnering with Clermont, Goshen, Loveland and New Richmond Chambers for fun night at the Great American Ball Park. The Red's play the Houston Astros at 7:10pm.  For $70 a person you will have a seat, two drink tickets and a buffet.  Reservations must be in by March 30, 2009.  Call 831-2411 to reserve your seat.

  • May 16, 2009 Thundering Hearts Motorcycle Rally - the rally will begin at the American Legion Hall, May 16th at 12:00pm.  This eighty-mile ride to Camp Joy Outdoor Education Center, Clarksville, Ohio.   • Thursday May 14th, Free Seminar - "Feeding the Teen Athlete, Separating Fact from Fiction" featuring Dr. Huber, integrative care specialist at The LaValle Metabolic Institute with 20 years of experience in the Emergency Room.  The free seminar will be from 6-7 PM at Miami Athletic Club in Milford and will address student athletes and their parents to discuss nutrition principles for optimal human performance.  Click here for flyer.

  • May 25, 2009 Memorial Day Parade  - The parade assembles at American Legion Grounds, proceeds to Memorial Park at 9:00am for a ceremony , onto Greenlawn Cemetery and to St. Andrew Cemetery.  Come out and support the veterans who are still with us and honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.  Contact Jo Ann at the Chamber 831-2411 for more information.  All are welcome.

  • June 4, 5, 6 & 7, 2009 47th Annual FRONTIER DAYS - The parade kicks off the four day event on Thursday, June 4th  starting at 6:30,  this year theme “ Believe in Magic” the official start of the fun filled weekend.  The committee has a great lineup of music, food and games for young and old.  The deadline for parade and booth applications is May 8th.  Go to www.frontierdaysmilford.com for your applications and list of the events.  Honoring one of our own.  With the passing of Pat Toomey there is a void in the FD committee.  Pat was a tireless worker and the FD weekend was so important to him.  The committee knows Pat would want them to carry on but it won’t be the same without Pat and his antics and joke playing on everyone. To honor Pat, the committee has made him Grand Marshal, Pat’s wife Mimi, daughter Tracy, son-in-law Josh and his six grandchildren will be riding in the parade.

  • Saturday, August 15, 2009 -  Greater Milford Area History Society is hosting a Vintage Base Ball Game at Riverside Ballfield onWater Street at Stier Drive.  !Huzzah! Huzzah! the Cincinnati Buckeyes vs. Wyandotte Ghostriders at 2 PM.   The Cincinnati Buckeyes predated their rivals, the Red Stockings (now known as the Cincinnati Reds), by a year, yet were all but forgotten to history as the Red Stockings went professional and made Cincinnati a one-team town.  Almost 140 years later, the Cincinnati Buckeyes returned, to play the game they love and to educate and entertain folks with the original game of base ball.  It was a gentlemen’s sport, played with great skill and greater spirit.  Today’s Cincinnati Buckeyes continue the legacy of their name, and promote the history and tradition of America’s  pastime.  Click here for flyer

  • Saturday, August 15, 2009  - Kiwanis Bowling Tournament - Kiwanis Club of Milford is having its third annual Kiwanis Bowling Tournament.  This event will be held, at Cherry Grove Lanes, 4005 Hopper Hill Rd. These ladies will have their products to sell. Each vendor is donating a $50.00 item to the Mary Ann Partin Silent Auction at the Taste of Christmas.  Any gifts that we as hostesses would receive will also go to the Mary Ann Partin Silent Auction.  There will be free refreshments and door prizes.  It is a good chance to have some fun, get a head start on Christmas, plus help the scholarship fund.

  • Sunday, October 18, 2009 - Greater Milford Area Historic Society (GMAHS) is pleased to announce the return of our very popular Historic Homes Tour.  It has been several years since we have been able to host a historic homes tour. Several local home owners have agreed to open either their homes or grounds for our tour. Virginia Critchell has graciously offered to Chair this event.   • Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 - Miami Township Holiday Parade sponsored by Meijer.  Parade starts at 7:00 PM.  Bring your lawn chair and join us on the parade route that starts at Meijer and then proceeds down Business 28, to enjoy the sights & sounds of the holiday.  High School marching bands, lighted floats, businesses, Miami Township Fire, Police, Service & Recreation Departments, churches, school groups & civic organizations participate to make this a fun community event.  This years parade marshal is Astronaut/Teacher,  Steve Heck, 8th Grade Earth Science Teacher at Milford Junior High School who is training for the teacher in space program and is scheduled to fly in the next 24 months.  Call Miami Township Recreation Department at 248-3727 if you are interested in participating.

  • Sunday, December 13, 2009 is the deadline for drop offs for the Christmas for the Troops Collection sponsored by Milford Kiwanis Club and the Milford High School Key Club.  There are three drop-off locations, The Kroger Store in Mulberry Square & Evans Funeral Home, and the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce.  Suggested items include: White high top socks, Fleece or twin blankets, Peanuts, Candy, Pringles, Hot cocoa mix, Cider mix, Crystal light packets, Beef Jerky, Hand Warmers, Peanut butter, Crackers of all kinds, Tuna in can or package, Chicken in packages or can, Christmas stockings, Small Christmas trees no taller than 11 inches, Any small item the troops might enjoy as a gift such as a CD.
