Meet our Ambassador of the Year for 2024, Erin Barcroft

Erin has been such an asset to our community since she jumped right into both the Chamber and being an Ambassador!

🏡 Can you share a bit about yourself and your business?

My husband and I have lived in Milford Miami Township for 5 years. We have four amazing children and eight wonderful grandchildren. When we are not working, you can find us with our family, usually enjoying game nights, hanging outside with a fire, or attending sporting events for our grandchildren. I have lived here for most of my life, and have had the privilege of watching the Milford area transform into the community we see today.

I have been in real estate for a little over two years. Real Estate is my passion, and I’m good at it! I have had the opportunity to be a part of the lives of some pretty spectacular families, and have helped them achieve their real estate goals, wishes and dreams. I have been able to see the entire process completed and the difference it has made in their lives. My clients are not just clients, they become an extended part of my family. I care very deeply about my relationship with each person and family I help. I began to feel like I could make a greater difference, if I could just get the courage to take my passion for people a step further by stepping into a more active role in my community.

🏡 Have you always been an active member of your community/what has inspired the commitment?

Not having a real understanding of the importance and impact one person could make, I have seen the benefit with my personal and professional development from becoming more active in my community. By getting involved in important events, meeting my neighbors, and participating in local initiatives, I have built stronger relationships, but have also gained a deeper understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people I serve.

🏡 How have you and your business benefited from the association with the chamber?

Our chamber has provided me with networking opportunities, access to resources, and a platform to promote my business within the local community. My involvement with our chamber has also helped me to build trust and credibility among fellow chamber members and potential clients.

🏡 Could you highlight one particular chamber experience that has been especially meaningful or memorable for you?

The Eastside Business Bash has been especially meaningful for me. The event provided me with the opportunity to connect with members of the community on a personal and professional level. My relationships with my community are a vital part of my business, a large portion of my business is obtained from referrals.
